I am a retired engineer, now living in Bangkok. I bring a scientist’s sensibility to the study of sex in my recently published book, The Old Man and the Semen: Sex and the Aging Male.
As a 78 year old man with an active libido, I have an intimate understanding of the challenges facing elderly men who continue to view sex as essential to their being, and I enjoy sharing what I have learned with others. I believe that the elderly, free from the pressures of work and family, may be in a better position than others to simply relax and enjoy sex, if only they can keep those pesky health issues at bay.
While not a sex professional, I claim a good deal of relevant life experience from time behind the front desk of a Florida massage parlor to my exploration of Asian brothels. In addition to my new book about sex and the elderly, I have published several works of fiction.
My most recent novel, The 28th Amendment is set in a future where Americans are finally free to live as they choose. Against this background, one man, Dan Silver, a recent retiree, is able to achieve his dream of becoming a porn star.
I previously published two historical novels. The Vientiane Affair is set in Laos during the early days of America’s secret war against that country. CIA agent Jack Gold wants to track down whoever murdered his drinking buddy Fred Jenkins. It’s not an easy task since Jenkins is a man who no one could possibly want to kill.
Slaughtering Girl is the story of a young woman, Chen Liquan, growing up in China during the turbulent years following the 1911 revolution. She is a woman with an extraordinary talent for slaughtering fowl, a talent that serves her well as Mao rises to power.
Readers wanting to learn more about my travels are invited to visit Eastern Tales.
I have been a vegetarian for more than forty years and would like readers to know that no animals were harmed in the writing of my novels.
I enjoyed a long career as an engineer with IBM, Fujitsu Network Communications, Huawei Technologies, and my own company, Datanet Associates. I hold numerous US, European, and Chinese patents and was an active contributor to Ethernet standards. I have a bachelor’s degree in Humanities and Science from MIT and a master’s degree in Computer Science from Penn State University.
